The Netcare Corporate Board is please to welcome Dr. Mona Robinson to its Board of Directors.
Dr. Robinson is a Professor of Counselor Education with Ohio University. She is a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor, Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor Supervisor, and Licensed Social Worker. She holds a B.S. in Psychology, M.A. in Rehabilitation Counseling, and Ph.D. in Rehabilitation Services, all from The Ohio State University
Her areas of expertise include psychiatric rehabilitation, disability advocacy, multicultural counseling and ethics, and dual diagnosis.
She has served on numerous boards and has participated as a site reviewer for The Council for the Accreditation of Counseling and Related Educational Programs (CACREP) and the Council of Rehabilitation Education. She currently serves on the Ohio University Diversity and Inclusion Advisory Council, the Ohio University President’s Opiate Task Force, and has implemented coaching programs with the Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Robinson currently serves as Institute Director for Ohio University’s Study Abroad programs in Italy and Botswana.
Dr. Robinson is a published author with more than 25 research publications and 1 book. She has been awarded and recognized for her achievements in professional counseling, focusing on health disparities, social justice and multicultural rehabilitation. Most recently she is the 2020 Invited Interviewee for The Professional Counselor Lifetime Achievement in Counseling Series.
