Thank You for Helping Us Smash the Stigma!

The courts were alive with energy, laughter, and purpose this past Saturday at our Smash the Stigma Pickleball Open, and we couldn’t be more grateful to everyone who helped make the day a win for mental health.

Whether you competed in the tournament or joined us for the clinic, your presence helped raise more than $12,000 to support two vital programs: Netcare’s ROW One Program and Maryhaven’s Engagement Center. Through the ROW One (Reach Out Workers) program, Netcare offers street-level outreach to individuals who are publicly inebriated, many of whom are homeless or unstably housed, providing them with safe transportation to the Maryhaven Engagement Center. This center offers temporary, year-round refuge along with access to treatment, recovery resources, and support, helping individuals take critical first steps toward stability and healing.

From our generous sponsors — Huntington, Schoning Dental, KEMBA Financial Credit Union, Marker, and Selkirk — to the many individual supporters, your commitment is helping change lives in central Ohio.

Thank you to our vendors — StretchLab Powell, Wild at Heart, KEMBA, Deeper Dive, NAMI Mid-Ohio — and to our food truck, Pitabilities!

We’re also incredibly grateful to Dave Ganim and the Pickle Shack for being such enthusiastic and supportive hosts.

Thank you for showing up, speaking out, and helping us smash the stigma surrounding mental health and addiction. We can’t wait to see you at our next event!

We would also like to extend a sincere thank you to every guest who attended the event. Whether you contributed through sponsorship, donations, or simply by being present to celebrate with us, you played a key role in making this event a success.
