The Columbus Division of Police is grateful to partner with some amazing Netcare clinicians.

Kerith is one of those.

She was recently presented a Citizen Commendation award.

Sgt. Matt Harris, who oversees CPD’s Mobile Crisis Response Unit, nominated Kerith for her heroics of engaging a suicidal man from taking his life as he hung from the edge of a downtown building.

Kerith convinced the man to come off the roof and safely into police custody where he soon received medical help at an area hospital.

“Kerith has been with MCR since it’s inception in June 2018. She possesses invaluable traits that a contribute to the work we do,” said Sgt. Harris.
