Netcare offers specialized crisis and assessment services for individuals with a dual diagnosis of mental illness and mental retardation and/or developmental disabilities. Our MR/DD specialist acts as a liaison between the Franklin County Board of MR/DD and the Franklin County ADAMH system to coordinate services ensuring continuity of care for the client. Mental health assessments are completed for linkage to agencies providing longer-term services, and referrals are made to other community resources that may benefit the individual. Consultation occurs with other providers serving the client and crisis alerts are generated which include plans for managing a client’s crisis when it occurs.
