The Netcare Foundation is a 501-c-3, non-profit fund raising organization. For more than 30 years, the Foundation has been raising funds  to offer support to the programs of Netcare Access. There are currently nine members of the Netcare Foundation Board of Trustees. Community professionals from businesses such as Nationwide, Battelle, Jones Lang LaSalle and King Business Interiors are represented on the Board. Foundation Board members serve a minimum three-year term and all have an interest in mental health, health or fundraising.

The Netcare Foundation has made recent significant contributions to Netcare such as the purchase of Reach Out vans, Youth Services furninshings and intervention tools, capital improvements to facilities, safety improvements to crisis units and continuing education opportunities such as the Grayce M. Sills, RN, PhD scholarship grant awarded annually to Netcare employees.

The Netcare Foundation is funded through corporate and individual donations. Most of the funding, however, comes from the Netcare Foundation annual Italian Festa! and the Netcare Foundation Golf Tournament. This tournament attract over twenty teams of golfers and celebrities such as  Earle Bruce, past head football coach of the Ohio State Buckeyes, Bill Conley, former assistant Ohio State University football coach,  George Lehner from 610 WTVN, Plaskolite Inc. and the Astor & Black Custom Clothiers have joined the cause and helped facilitate the events.

We receive gifts in memory of, or in honor of, loved ones frequently.  These gifts support our goals of education, intervention, and advocacy. Being older I thought I might be put on the back burner, because they probably thought I was old and crazy. Nothing of the such.
The receptionist, counselor, nurse and doctor made me feel safe and not so scared. These folks cared about me and my state of mind. The counselor was a great listener and knew her job well.
